Finding yourself could be little hard. Knowing yourself could be a great deal. The journey of following your own instincts is a gift and your own opinion - your value. This world has set some things to be "right", people always rush to set their own needs to the perfect level and wait for their approval from the global masses. It's just too strange how many people can value the same thing as right and if someone does not support the global opinion is considered as a weirdo. Strange...

When it comes to creative people, artists, musicians, directors etc etc... They are always little different, their own methods of self-expression seem to be their personality.  Where are you in all those prejudices? Do you feel like you are sucked in the ready - made society? Do you feel like you need a fresh air? Are you asking yourself for help?

Here are some things you should keep in mind:

Believe in yourself
Yes, it's all about you! This is not being an egoist. No, not at all. But you have to keep in mind that everything in this world starts from you. You personal career, healthy life, goals, challenges... It depends on you, so believe in your abilities and find yourself in your own world. If you haven't created already, then start working on that.

Dare to be unique and creative
To be creative means, to create your own values, your own world, your own place to hide or grow, your own playground. Set yourself a few goals for each month, week even day. Try always to do something different and make sure when you will achieve that, to learn to appreciate it.

Enjoy yourself everyday
True! Enjoy, enjoy! You have to make self balance and learn how to enjoy yourself. With positive thoughts, the things will look a lot more better to you.

Find what you love and become an expert at it
There must be something you love the most. That might be drawing, singing, dancing etc. Ask yourself: What you want to accomplish in the next few years, months... Be honest and set some realistic goals. Pay attention to every minute spend on making the things happen.
Spend a lot of time working, exercising, if you really love what you do, it won't be waste of time.

Ignore insults, but take heed to constructive criticism
For the most part, what other people think and say about you doesn’t matter. Unless you’re trying to make a great first impression (job interview, first date, etc.), don’t let the opinions of others stand in your way. What they think and say about you isn’t important. What is important is how you feel about yourself.

Open your mind to fresh ideas and experiences
LOOK around you! Exactly, there might be some painting in your home that can inspire you. Painting, clothes, newspapers, tv etc etc. All those things are in our life and art is what we provide right?

Don't get upset about the artwork you make. If you aren't happy with a project, don't throw it out. When you are done with it, someone else might like it and then you will too.

After mastering one way of working with an idea, try doing it a different way and you might get a better result.
Learn background information and do research about the idea you are interested in working on.

Practice, Practice, Practice
The more you train, the more you get better. Practice leads to perfection. Every time you remind yourself of your goal, you train your brain to make it happen.

Quitting is not an option. Don’t give up on something you believe in
Success is a gift you give yourself as a direct result of the beliefs you hold about yourself. Therefore, it is extremely important to evaluate your beliefs and become aware of any that are holding you back or even worse, bringing the very things that you don't want into your life.

Just do it. Action is the vehicle for success

During your journey you will find yourself confused, desperate, unsure... But that is a part of the journey as well. Try to remember your failures, your mistakes and learn how to laugh about that! It could be so much fun as well educative!

Avoid to listen the TV and Mainstream Trends
Today everything is marketing, sailing priorities, setting the "right" standards, in order to manipulate! Remember that, you is you and your own world so don't let small minds convince you that your dreams are too big.
